This classic absinthe set features a water dripper, traditional French cafe saucers, absinthe spoon w/ sugar cube, absinthe glasses, and of course… absinthe!
The proper method of preparing absinthe, is to fill the dripper (also called an absinthe fountain) with ice cold water. The bottom bulb of the absinthe glass is filled with absinthe, and the cold water is slowly dripped over the sugar cube. The ice cold water causes the oils in the absinthe to separate from the liquor, causing to “louche” or turn a milky green color.
